GO FAIR

Lead: Dr. Paolo Budroni (Vienna University of Technology)

GOFAIR is a bottom-up initiative that supports the goals of the EOSC implementation and goes beyond them in selected areas. GOFAIR acts according to the principles of Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable and has a global impact. In the context of the project e-Infrastructures Austria plus, the establishment of GOFAIR services involves anchoring the GOFAIR initiative to research institutions in Austria at the local level. Concrete services include building reference points, transferring know-how in infrastructure building and research support services, and advising on working groups in this area.

On November 14, 2019, a "Certification Workshop on FAIR-aligned Repositories in Austria" will be realised under the lead of Ingrid Dillo and Marjan Grootveld by the Data Archiving and Networked Services (DANS). The workshop aims to provide in-depth insights into CoreTrustSeal certification and to initiate a network of experts who can prepare for certification. Invited are Austria-wide repository managers. If you are interested, please contact Paolo Budroni (email: paolo.budroni@tuwien.ac.at).
